The Very Rev. Canon Evans Omollo serves as the Provost, providing strategic leadership to the Cathedral and ensuring that its mission is faithfully carried out. He oversees the church and school staff, ensuring all operations align with the church’s governance and vision.
With a deep commitment to the gospel, he leads through expository preaching, nurturing spiritual growth, and shaping Christlike disciples who become beacons of transformation in their communities. Rev. (Maj) James Kanyi
As the Assistant Provost and Head of the Children & Teens Ministry, Rev. Kanyi is dedicated to raising a generation rooted in Christ. His mission is simple yet profound—to lead children and teens to know Christ, make Him the center of their decisions, and share His love with the world.
His favourite hymn, “Master, Speak! Thy Servant Heareth,” is a powerful reminder of his calling—to listen and serve humbly in a world that often demands, “Master, listen! Your servant is speaking.” #ServiceThroughWordAndMusic

REV DR. ENOCH HARUN OPUKA
Fondly known as Father Opuka or Rev. Pukks, Rev. Dr. Enoch Harun Opuka is a cherished member of the Evangelism and Outreach ministry and serves as an attached clergy. With years of dedicated ministry at All Saints’ Cathedral, across Kenya and in multiple African countries, he carries a deep and enriched understanding of diverse worship traditions, bringing wisdom and reverence to every service.
Beyond the pulpit, he is a passionate educator, shaping young minds as a lecturer in Development Studies at a Christian university. His teaching is more than just academics—it is a calling, where he blends faith and knowledge to inspire a generation grounded in both wisdom and grace.
His love for Anglican liturgy, especially participatory worship, shines through in every service. Known as the go-to person for High Mass, his deep liturgical knowledge and meticulous attention to sacred traditions ensure that every celebration is both meaningful and spiritually uplifting.
Music holds a special place in his heart. With vast knowledge and deep appreciation for its role in worship, he understands its power to elevate the soul and draw us closer to God. ATIGALA LUVAI, LRSM

It would be difficult to tell the story of the 7 AM Choir without mentioning Atigala Luvai. His influence on the choir’s growth, identity, and musical heritage has been so profound that capturing it in a few paragraphs is no easy task. For many choristers, mentees, and congregants, Atigala is not simply a patron—he is an enduring source of inspiration, wisdom, and musical excellence.
A distinguished musician and holder of the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in Organ Performance, Atigala is an accomplished organist, accompanist, arranger, and choral musician. His mastery of the organ is widely admired, combining technical brilliance with remarkable musical sensitivity. Whether accompanying a choir, improvising during worship, or crafting thoughtful arrangements, he brings depth, beauty, and meaning to every musical experience.
Many memorable moments in the choir’s life bear his unmistakable touch. One particularly cherished recollection comes from a Lenten service, when his rendition of Low in the Grave He Lay during the recessional hymn captivated the choir and congregation alike. Such moments reflect not only his exceptional musicianship but also his ability to use music to enrich worship and draw people into deeper reflection.
Beyond his musical accomplishments, Atigala is known for his calm demeanor, generous spirit, and passion for nurturing talent. He has devoted countless hours to mentoring singers, instrumentalists, and young musicians, helping them discover and develop their gifts. His contributions to initiatives such as the All Saints’ Children’s Choir and numerous landmark music events have left a lasting legacy within the church community.
Those who know him also appreciate his warm sense of humour and gift for storytelling. Whether sharing a musical insight, a memorable anecdote, or a word of encouragement, he has a unique way of bringing people together and making them feel valued.
Atigala’s ministry is deeply rooted in the Christian faith and the rich traditions of Anglican worship. He has consistently emphasized the importance of congregational worship, believing that music should unite the choir and congregation in a shared act of praise. Through his teaching and example, generations of choristers have come to understand that worship extends beyond performance—it is participation in the eternal praise of God, offered alongside “all the company of heaven.”
His vision, including initiatives such as the much-loved Lux Aeterna, has helped shape the worship life of the 7 AM Choir and the wider church community. Anthony Mwangi, LRSM
Choir Director
Anthony Mwangi is an accomplished musician, conductor, educator, and classical vocalist whose passion for music is matched by his commitment to ministry through worship. A distinguished baritone and holder of the prestigious Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM), Anthony brings a wealth of musical expertise, artistic excellence, and inspiring leadership to the 7 AM Choir.
With extensive experience as a choir director, conductor, soloist, and music educator, he has worked with a wide range of choral and musical ensembles. He is widely respected for his musical sensitivity, technical excellence, and ability to nurture and develop singers and instrumentalists, helping them reach their fullest potential. His work spans sacred choral music, classical performance, and music education, always guided by a commitment to excellence and meaningful artistic expression.
At the heart of Anthony’s musical philosophy is the belief that music is one of God’s greatest gifts—a universal language that transcends boundaries, touches the deepest parts of the human soul, and communicates the Gospel in ways that words alone often cannot.
